While recording or playing live, you must discipline yourself to sneeze or fart exactly on the beat. Failure to do this may make you play out of time for a few seconds.

Always running out of plectrums? Here's how to make 'em... Go get your credit card and a pair of scissors.... Seriously, plastic makes great picks, choose an area where the raised lettering will help to form a grip. If it's a bit stiff for your liking, try adding a hole with a holepunch to help it bend. Finish it off by rounding the edges with a file...voila! You can get 2 or 3 picks from one card and you'll also never get in debt again. (If you must hang on to your credit card though, there are literally thousands of other kinds of cards out there that could be put to better use)

Guitar Tip 2

It's common knowledge that new strings go out of tune until they "bed in".Well many say that it's 'cos they stretch, but I find if I put a small amount of light lubricant on the string where it crosses the bridge (and I'm talking TINY amounts, applying with a needle dipped in it) the strings stay tuned right after re-stringing. Use a light machine oil or WD40 or similar. You'll also find this can help stop strings breaking.

OK, we'll start off with a tip that I've found to be invaluable.... when struggling to learn some difficult chords or solo run, firmly grasp your guitar by the headstock and chuck it straight through the fuckin window. You will find that your frustrations are almost instantly removed.
